Temporal Salvation
There are many verses in the bible that teach that you are saved if you perform some good work. Many texts say we are not saved "eternally" by good works. Are there contradictions in the bible? No. Most of the times you see the word "saved" in the scriptures, you should examine the text and see if it says "eternal" salvation.
You have to "add" to the scriptures to make the scripture teach that you are saved by good works. More often than not, the "saved" verses mean you will be delivered in this life from some calamity, sickness, curse, chastisement, etc. Most salvation verses have nothing to do with eternal salvation.
Listen to the Temporal Salvation sermon. It will shed light on the salvation verses and you will receive a blessing.
