Election
Election is the doctrine that God chose some people to go to heaven and let the rest of mankind be judged by their works. Election is a fixed amount of people that God predestinated and gave to Jesus before the foundation of the world.
God did not choose them because they did any good while they were on this earth. God chose according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace.
